GIVE is core to our identity at Dignitas! It’s no coincidence that this was the acronym selected by our team to describe our strategy for 2018.
This strategy has four key elements;
- GROW to seek impact at scale
- INFLUENCE through a body of evidence that demonstrates how school leaders can help children learn
- VALUE driven programming that is affordable, sustainable and impactful
- ENGAGE stakeholders

As we look forward to 2019, it has been amazing to reflect with our team on the progress we’ve made towards the achievement of this strategy! None of this progress would have been possible without serious and intentional GIVING!
Giving from our friends and donors, whether from those who shop on Amazon Smile, those who attended our 10th anniversary celebrations, or our larger Foundation partners and funders, Giving is crucial to our ongoing work with Teachers and School Leaders, and crucial to our plans to see approximately 37,000 children thriving and succeeding in school in 2019.

Giving from our staff team. I’ve said it before, and I’ll no doubt say it again, but from the day I joined Dignitas, I have been blown away by the compassion, commitment and integrity of our team. Day in, day out, through every season, they have given their time, energy and expertise to the success of Dignitas’ work with approximately 30 school partners in 2018.
Giving from our amazing School Leaders. At our recent anniversary celebrations we had the privilege of recognizing 5 school leaders who have excelled, and given far beyond the call of duty. However, the reality is that none of our work would be possible without the School Leaders who daily gave their time, energy and expertise to invest in the future of 12,500 learners in 2018.

Giving from our awesome team of volunteers. From our board members in Kenya and US who serve tirelessly, to the musicians and sound technicians who volunteered to make our recent 10th anniversary celebrations a success, those who voluntarily give of their time, energy and skills have helped the work of Dignitas drive impact in many communities over the past ten years.
