Joshua Mwangi

With over 25 years of experience in the Ministry of Education, Mr. Joshua Mwangi has ascended from a district education officer in 1998 to the Acting Director of Policy Partnerships and East Africa Community Affairs in 2022. During his tenure as the Deputy Director of Policy and Partnership, he facilitated collaborations with numerous non-state actors through formal Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs). 

Mr. Mwangi currently serves in the secretariat on Education Reforms, focusing on CBC implementation and the transition of learners to junior secondary school. His extensive career spans technical vocational education, working with pastoral communities to enhance education access, and advocating for marginalized learners in informal settlements, contributing significantly to policy development in education.
