Dignitas has an exciting year ahead in 2021, with further growth and development plans.  2020 was our most challenging year yet, but we’ve proven Dignitas’ vision to be critical, and work meaningful even in the most challenging of circumstances.  It is our desire to build on this in 2021 by leveraging lessons learned and crafting impactful solutions for educators working to ensure schools are vibrant places for all children to thrive and succeed.

With this in mind, we are hiring an Advocacy and Development Director.

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Advocacy and Development Director will fulfil a senior management role.  The role will be split across two key taskloads, one with the aim of providing strategic support to programming including coordination of advocacy and government partnerships, and the second, to support the pursuit and development of new, potentially diverse growth opportunities that serve to extend the impact of Dignitas.   This role will form a critical part of the strategy to develop and steward a sustainable, diversified local and international resource base for the organization’s work.  The Advocacy and Development Director will work closely with the Executive Director to ensure strategic growth of the organization.
